Former Players' Day

Calling all former players of Penicuik Rugby Football Club.

We're having a Former Players' Day at the club and we'd be delighted to see as many of you as possible attending. It's on Saturday 18th August and there will be the chance to meet up with old team mates, watch the current senior squad in a friendly pre-season warm up game against East League Division 1 opposition and maybe even take part in a semi-competitive game as we remember another former colleague in the shape of the newly-inaugurated Gordon Wilson Memorial Cup.

In that regard, we're really keen to hear from those of you who fancy a run-around, however brief, so we can put a couple of teams together. Nothing full on, but - if you're anything like me - you all still think you can do it, so why not take the opportunity to prove yourselves right or wrong? Those of you who played with Gordon are particularly encouraged to join in !!

We'd also like to take the opportunity to bring you all up to speed with current developments at the club and to share with you our plans and dreams for the future. We really want you to be a part of that present and future, not just the past.

There will be food and beer starting from 12:30 pm. We'd be delighted if you can join us and even more delighted if you'd let us know that you are coming so we can plan catering and all the other activities. Please contact us by email (info@penicuikrugby.org), via the Facebook pages or contact Craig Donald on .

You can also help us have a successful day by spreading the word amongst your fellow former players - we don't have contact details for everyone but if you can all reach out to people that you played alongside then we can get the message out as widely as possible.

Here's to some great reunions and we look forward to seeing you all on the day.
