Games and Training this weekend

Back into the full swing of things this weekend, with a host of rugby action.

On Friday afternoon, there's a training session for S1-S5 girls. It starts at 2:00 pm in the Public Park. Amy Sanderson will be running this and all girls are welcome to attend. Please spread the word.

On Saturday afternoon, the combined Currie/Penicuik U18s are in action down in Berwick (TD15 2QY) with a 1:30 pm kick off. Also on Saturday afternoon, the First XV (sponsored by McKenzie Skip Hire Ltd - Ally McKenzie) are in league action at Volunteer Park, Hawick (TD9 0EH) where they face league leaders Hawick Linden. Due - apparently - to a shortage of referees in the Borders, that game kicks off at the later-than-usual time of 3:00 pm.

Meanwhile, the home rugby rations are served up by the Second XV who take on the Ferry Road Wanderers in another league game. They'll be looking to build on the excellent performance that they put in when these sides met the first time, so please come down and give them some encouragement. Kick off in the Public Park is 2:00 pm.

Finally, the Hunters (P1-P7) have games on Sunday morning at Forrester (EH12 9FR). Gifford are also visiting so lots of game time to look forward to. Games kick off at 11:00 am sharp so please be at Forrester by 10:30 am at the latest.

As ever, your support at any or all of these games will be very much appreciated.
