Gav McQuillan

PRFC President

On behalf of Penicuik Rugby club a very warm welcome to all our visiting teams, sponsors supporters and referees to our 56th Annual Sevens Tournament.

The tournament is a perfect way to finish our playing season and we believe our competition format provides plenty of competitive rugby for everyone to enjoy. With a good mix of teams across the draw it promises to be an entertaining and exciting afternoon.

It’s been a positive, enjoyable season on and off the pitch and across the whole club as we continue to grow and I’m delighted with the progress we are making. I would like to to take this opportunity to thank all those who have contributed during the year and in particular those who have helped put today together. Your support is crucial in making things happen and is much appreciated.

A special thanks to all our sponsors whose continued support this year has been invaluable in growing and developing the club.

In addition to our main sponsors McKenzie Skip Hire and Allan Hay Roofing our new player sponsorship programme has been a great success giving many new local business and organisations the opportunity to get involved.

You will see many of them represented across the club house and our social media channels and we hope you can support their businesses in the future.  We are looking forward to hosting all our sponsors today in the Nicol Gas Hospitality zone.

Keep checking back to this page as hopefully our technology is working and real time scores should be updating

Enjoy your day

Cheers Gav
