It is with deep sadness that we inform our members of the passing of Bob Louttit, a cherished former player of our club following a long illness.

Bob was not only a remarkable athlete but also a beloved member of our rugby family. His contributions at prop and second row have left an enduring impact on all his team mates.

After his playing career ended Bob was often seen pitch side cheering on later generations of Penicuik 1xv sides, and more latterly was present in the club for our past player days.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to his wife Gillian, Gary, Craig, Emma and the wider family.
