We’d like to take the opportunity to congratulate Ian Barr on the confirmation of his election as President of the Scottish Rugby Union. It’s a real pleasure to see a local Midlothian club rugby man take the helm and we’re sure that the combination of Ian’s sound business head and love of rugby will stand him in good stead as he seeks to guide the ship through some of the biggest challenges the game has ever faced. We wish him well for his tenure.
Congratulations, also, to Colin Rigby on his election as vice-president and we’d also like to pay tribute to outgoing President Dee Bradbury for all her work over the past couple of years.
