The weather continues to spoil the fun.
There are no games for U14s, U16s or U18s this weekend.
The First and Second XV have re-arranged league games on Saturday. The First XV are away at Trinity Academicals and the Second XV visit Edinburgh Northern with both games scheduled to start at 3:00 pm, conveniently during the Italy vs Scotland game. Given the weather forecast for the next few days, we’ll be astonished if either of those games are still on by Friday evening.
As expected, the First XV and Second XV games are POSTPONED as all Edinburgh Leisure pitches have been deemed unusable for anything other than water sports.
As our own pitches are also currently unusable, the Hunters (P1-7) games on Sunday against Dalkeith are CANCELLED. There will, however, be touch rugby training for those age groups on the Astro, starting at 11:00 am.
The club will be open on Friday evening for the Edinburgh vs Connacht Pro14 game which will be on the big screen (kick off 7:35 pm). The club will again be open on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 pm for the Italy vs Scotland game (kick off 2:15 pm – pizza available before kick off). That will be followed by the Wales vs France game (kick off 4:45 pm) and then the Glasgow vs Dragons game which starts at 7:35 pm.
Finally, don’t forget the Italy Women vs Scotland Women on Sunday afternoon (kick off 5:00 pm – live on BBC Alba).
