The clubhouse will be open as usual on Friday evening from around 8:00 pm so why not pop down and enjoy a beer or two with friends. Please be advised that we will have hosted the wake for Jimmy Semple during the afternoon. If there are funeral guests still in attendance in the evening, please be mindful and act appropriately.
On Saturday morning, the U14s head into town to play Boroughmuir High School. Kick off in that game is at 10:00 am. Players should either meet up at the Penicuik Centre at 8:30 am ready to travel in convoy or at Meggatland for 9:00 am. Also on Saturday morning, the U16s have a much-needed game against Currie. Kick off is at 10:30 am. Players should be at the club no later than 9:45 am.
On Saturday afternoon, both the First XV (sponsored by McKenzie Skip Hire and Uniq Marketing) and Second XV host their Corstorphine counterparts in League fixtures. Kick off in both those games will be 2:00 pm.
On Sunday, the Hunters host Forrester, Corstorphine Cougars and Callander. These games will start at the usual time of 11:00 am so players should be at the club for 10:15 am. As is usual with home games, we will need volunteer help in the kitchen to heat and distribute sausage rolls to the players and to make and sell teas, coffees and home-baking. If you are able to do so, please step forward and help.
