Introducing our new Micro’s Rugby

PRFC Micro’s Rugby for age 3 & 4

Following a large number of interest from our members and families, we are delighted to announce and launch a new Micros rugby section to run alongside our Mini’s & Midi’s sections.

This is designed as an introduction to rugby and is focused on fun games that introduce the kids to basic ball handling and movement in an enjoyable and active environment.

It is open to boys and girls at pre school age 3 & 4yr old and will run every Sunday 11am alongside our mini’s. We would like to welcome all who are interested along this Sunday for an introductory morning. Please note the micros section will continue to run on Sundays when the Mini’s are playing away from home but will follow the same holiday pattern so please keep up to date with our mini’s fixture list https://penicuikrugby.org/fixtures/

The Micro’s rugby allows our players to follow a natural journey onto Mini rugby, Midi rugby and then onto 1xv & 2xv

For clarity our new youth structure will be

Micro’s : Ages 3 & 4 yr old

Mini’s : P1-P7 (not age related and is linked to school years)

Midi’s : U14’s, U16’s & U18’s
