It is with deep sadness that we inform our members of the loss of former Prop Forward and club member Ronnie Gillies.
Ronnie passed away just before Christmas following a long battle with illness.
Members will remember the very outgoing character Ronnie who entertained the clubhouse for many years. Not only did he master the dark arts of the front row he was also an established musician
However it was on rugby tours to Cardiff that Ronnie excelled at and comfortably took up the role as a “tourist”
Our thoughts are with Ronnie’s family at this difficult time
The funeral will be held at Mortonhall on 29th of December at 13:00
