With the Scottish Government advising we all stay at home, and with schools shut, the SRU have updated their rules and advice for clubs with regard to training. Unfortunately, but unsurprisingly, those rules say that there can be NO TRAINING for Seniors or Midis (U14, U16, U18) at all. The guidelines say that some limited, socially-distanced training could be organised for Minis, subject to extensive risk assessment. However, having given it due consideration, the club management group have decided that it will be best for us to take the precautionary stance that there will also be NO TRAINING for our Hunters (P1 to P7). The safety of our volunteer coaches, players and all club members is paramount and so this will remain the case for at least as long as the schools remain closed and possibly for some time after that too.

In reality, we believe that it is unlikely that there will be any rugby played this season but we will continue to monitor the situation and will resume activities should it become safe for all concerned to do so. We will review the situation and send out further updates at the start of February. In the meantime, please stay safe and continue to support each other, as members of our shared Rugby Family.

This will end, and we want everyone to be there to enjoy being a part of the club again when it does.
