A quick message following our update over the weekend.

As you will no doubt be aware, there are a number of COVID-positive clusters in Midlothian schools at the moment. Unfortunately that resulted in one of our mini players testing positive for COVID last week. As a precaution we closed down all our club activity to prevent any further spread and to allow us to take stock. Following conversations with NHS Lothian and the SRU we are confident that our Track and Trace procedures have been effective and that we can manage the restarting of our training in a safe manner.

Firstly with COVID continuing to circulate within the community, especially across the younger ages, we believe the responsible thing to do to is to cancel training for Hunters and Midi age groups this week to allow things to settle down around us. This means no training this Wednesday 2nd June or Sunday 6th June. An update on future plans for these age groups will be shared via the normal channels later in the week.

Senior touch rugby will continue this week as planned.

As ever should you or any of your family not feel well we would ask that you don’t attend training.

Any questions please get in touch

Cheers
