The end of the year always gives a great opportunity to stop and both reflect on the past year and to look forward to the opportunities a new year brings.
As a club the new year hearlds the start on our centenary as we look to celebrate 100 years of history, friendship and sporting achievement. Our centenary committee has been working hard behind the scenes to organise a full year of exciting events for all of us to come together and celebrate – watch this space for more information in the coming weeks.
I believe 2023 has been a positive year for the club as we have continued to make progress across many areas both on and off the pitch.This progress is a team effort and only possible with the time and energy we all invest to make the club what it is today. So no matter what part you have played in the story of 2023 I would thank you all for your continued support, ideas and passion to make things happen. 2024 is not just about a year of celebration it also about continuing our progress with a number of key projects planned including a school of rugby and an ambitious project for our club house to make sure that Penicuik Rugby Club is still around for e the next 100 years for people to enjoy.

Beeslack HS School of Rugby 2024

Beeslack school of rugby is an exciting new opportunity from 2024!
S1-S3 pupils will be offered curricular rugby during PE periods and possible extra periods specific to rugby. There will also be regular extra curricular rugby on as part of the school of rugby where pupils will be coached by development officers.
Pupils will also be able to attend regional competitions and other showcases throughout the year.
